These terms govern your use of MathPoint (the “Service”) provided by Fermion Inc. (“we”). By using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
The Service lets the AI you connect (such as Claude or ChatGPT) edit the PowerPoint slides and Word documents you have open, and typesets math, figures, and tables with TeX. The AI itself is provided by its own provider, whose terms apply to your use of it.
2. Accounts
You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for it. You can delete your account at any time from the account page.
3. Plans and fees
The free plan includes up to 30 typeset formulas, figures, or tables per month. Fees, payment, and cancellation for the paid plan follow the legal notice and what is shown when you subscribe.
4. Prohibited use
- Anything illegal or that infringes others' rights
- Putting excessive load on the Service, or abusing typesetting to reach the network or read files
- Unauthorized access, bypassing authentication, or using someone else's account
- Reselling or redistributing the Service without our permission
5. Your content
You keep all rights to the sources you send and the slides and documents you make. We process them only as needed to provide the Service (see the privacy policy).
6. Changes and interruptions
We may change the Service or suspend it temporarily for maintenance or outages.
7. Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided as is. We do not guarantee that AI output or typeset results are accurate or fit for a particular purpose; please check important documents. Except for our willful misconduct or gross negligence, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the preceding 12 months.
8. Changes to these terms
We will post changes on this page. Using the Service after a change means you accept it.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance.
